In Science we are still focusing on our Solid, Liquids, and Gas unit. We are exploring how to change liquids to solids, and solids to liquids. We conducted a really exciting experiment..... WE MADE PLAY DOUGH...
We used:
FLOUR
WATER
SALT
FOOD COLORING
We mixed these ingredients together kneaded the dough until it became stiff.. once that happened each child got a piece and was able to make something with it. I am going to keep these Science/Art pieces in the class on display .... This was a fantastic, hands on experiment to really see what happens when you mix ingredients (mixture) and change a liquid into a solid...
