In Reading Workshop we have been working skills that good readers have. We learned about decoding strategies, reading for meaning, how to make our reading smooth, and many others. Second graders were partnered up to practice specific skills together. This is also another example of learning good teamwork skills. We have been working on team building exercises in class as well.
